Overview
An all-in-one payments app for a young audience — everyday transactions, bill payments, card management, and access to wider financial services — designed to feel trustworthy, modern, and culturally relevant. The job: make a broad, feature-dense fintech product feel simple and intuitive.
The challenge
Make a wide, feature-dense product feel effortless — balancing bold 3D and flat iconography without disrupting flow, using colour to build trust, and staying clear and accessible across languages, devices, and levels of digital-payment familiarity.
Approach
- Mapped core payment and account flows, then designed clean, accessible mobile screens around them.
- Layered the visual language — 3D icons for emotional peaks (onboarding, rewards, confirmation), flat icons as the fast, scalable workhorse.
- Used purple as a signal layer — accents separating interactive from static elements, with depth from lavenders and deeper violets.
- Chose familiar patterns to ease first-time users into digital payments.
- Carried high-fidelity wireframes into a final design system — colour, typography, iconography.
Outcome
A clean, trustworthy, build-ready mobile UI and design system — flows and screens tuned for everyday transactions, showing how strong UI/UX makes a feature-rich fintech product feel effortless.
