Built and launched a biotechnology company's corporate website on Wix — implementing a client-led design as a clean, responsive, go-live-ready site.

Overview
A biotechnology company needed its corporate website built and put live. The visual direction was led by the client; my role was to implement it faithfully as a responsive Wix site — setting up the pages, structure and content — and launch it.
The challenge
Translate a client-supplied design into a faithful, responsive Wix build and get it live — staying true to the provided direction within the platform's constraints. The client sent wireframe-style layouts for four pages (Home, Products, About us, Contact us) with image placeholders and sample text, so the build had to hold that layout while the real content and images went in.
Approach
- Worked from the client's design direction.
- Built the pages and responsive layouts on Wix to match.
- Followed the supplied Home layout section by section: vision and ambition, the global challenges (such as antimicrobial resistance and food security), and a “Why now” section.
- Built the Contact page to the supplied spec: address, map, form, phone and email.
- Prepared the icon and image files for the build, including SVG icons and an upscaled image.
- Set up the site structure and content as specified.
- Launched the site live.
Outcome
A live, responsive corporate website for the biotech company — implemented and shipped on Wix. The design decisions were the client's; my part was a faithful build and the go-live. I built the whole site, including the pages beyond the four in the client's layouts, and it has run unchanged since go-live.
